As Executive Director of Haymarket, Karla applies her experience and skills in community organizing, grassroots individual fundraising, and organizational development to focus on strengthening and expanding Haymarket's impact toward increasing organizational visibility and sustainability. This vision includes deepening and expanding opportunities with allies, partners, and especially Haymarket grantees to create an anti racism movement for social change in communities across the New England region. Karla finds balance through family time, art, long walks, good books, and capturing family history.

Ferron first began her journey with Haymarket as a part-time administrative assistant in 2016. In 2020 she became a member of the Haymarket Staff as Administrative Fundraising Coordinator. In this position, Ferron brings skills and experience gained through her time at Haymarket to the role in communications, donor development, and fundraising. When she is not working with Haymarket Ferron enjoys growing and arranging flowers, cooking, and making art.
