Our Conference Room
Where is the conference room located?
Our conference room is located on the first floor of our building on Seaverns Ave in Jamaica Plain, right off of Centre Street.
Is the space handicap-accessible?
Yes, the building is equipped with a wheelchair lift.
Is parking available?
Parking in the area can be slightly difficult, two hour parking is available in the public lot off of Burroughs Street behind Blanchard's. On street parking is sparse but the dedicated driver may be able to find something in the surrounding area, be vigilant with checking parking signs as parking patrol will be vigilant with giving tickets.
How do I get there by public transportation?
By train Haymarket is a .3 mile walk from the Orange Line Green Street stop. By bus Haymarket is a .2 mile walk from the nearest 39 bus stop.
Can we serve food at our gathering?
Yes! We are located very close to many restaurants and cafes on Centre St. If you need access to a kitchen we include the use of our kitchen in your rental fee. The kitchen is conveniently located right outside our conference room. While you are occupying the space you may use our stove, oven, microwave and refridgerator.
May I arrange the room differently than I find it?
The conference room has two small couches, three long folding tables and stackable upholstered chairs. You may configure the room however best suits your needs as long as you leave it as you found it.
Can I adjust the temperature in the room?
The thermostat in the conference room is located to the right as you enter, individuals who use the room are welcome to adjust the temperature for their comfort during their use but the thermostat must be returned to 62 upon leaving the room.
Is there a cleaning fee for the room?
All individuals or organizations that rent the room are responsible for cleaning the conference room and kitchen and returning it to the state they found it in. You are also responsible for collecting and removing all trash, food and materials from the building. Failure to do so result will result in a cleaning fee.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Rentals must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled use, failure to give proper warning will result in full charge for the use of the space.
