CELEBRATING (2).png

For half a century, Haymarket People’s Fund has funded New England anti-racist grassroots organizations that believe change is possible. Since 1974, we've been behind the scenes supporting almost every major social justice movement. We are forever grateful for this opportunity to serve local communities that share our vision of a world free of racism and oppressions, where peace and cooperation flourish. Thank you!

THE TIME IS NOW
TO INVEST IN GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT BUILDING!

Haymarket People’s Fund supports anti-racist, grassroots organizations across the New England region that believe change is possible. We’ve been behind the scenes, providing funding to almost every major progressive movement (Civil Rights, Women’s Rights, Peace, Environmental, Gay Liberation, and Anti-Apartheid) since 1974. While much has changed, too much remains the same as our grantees’ fight for justice continues.

Our notable impact is that we continue to provide the first grant to frontline organizations, often providing an inclusive, participatory funding process. Those most impacted by oppression make the funding decisions and have a highly valued voice as grassroots organizational partners. In five decades, Haymarket People’s Fund has made over

$34 million in grants to grassroots groups’ essential community organizing toward systemic change. Haymarket continues to be essential and relevant.

We have a goal of raising an additional one million dollars in 2024 to celebrate this momentous occasion, funds that will be regranted out to our partners with special 50th Anniversary grants. We are looking for 200 people to help us meet this one million-dollar goal. We are asking that our supporters give this special gift in addition to their annual gift in honor of our 50th year. These contributions will not only help us continue our essential work but also help us celebrate our grantee partners.

Help us Continue Our Legacy!

Become a changemaker by donating to the Haymarket People's Fund to help us reach our goal of $1 million. Your contribution will not only help us sustain Haymarket’s essential work for the next decade but also will help us celebrate our grantee partners with special Anniversary grants.
